Christmas Shopping Part 2

After I signed off the last post, I was reading some newspapers from the UK and the thought struck me, the probable comment to the last post was “we don’t have time to go to the high street and shop”  The I said wait a minute, if we get off the internet, forget blogs, Facebook, You Tube and all the video games you like to many to mention, then how many extra hours will we have 1, 2, 5, 10 or more per week.  It’s a lot more than you think.

As I remember growing up if we wanted to see a friend and say lets go shopping it was one quick phone call or even called round to their house to arrange it, not spending hours on tweeting our movements, or Facebooking our plan, we just got out there and did what we had to do.

We still had lots of time to chat with friends over a well deserved coffee at the end of a shopping trip.  You just have to get off that social media and get out into the real world and interact with it, it’s there for the taking.

Life is short. Too short to waste a single second with anyone who doesn’t appreciate and value you… ; ) This includes social media!!
